A remix of “Good Life” by Matthias.
I was laid off from my job last week. It was a dead end job that I hated. I had worked their for 5 years. I am 23 and trying my hardest to do what makes me happy, and that wasn’t it. Trying to get married to the woman I love, finishing up my bachelors degree for film, keeping family first and trying to keep my passions alive while working has always been difficult. So I wrote/remixed this song.
Times are hard and life can change in a moment, things you thought you had can suddenly disappear. Things you thought you needed you realize you can do without. Keep in mind whats important to you, what makes you get up in the morning and throw away everything else. But what you always have to keep, deep within yourself, is your motivation to pick yourself back up when you get knocked to the ground. Keep your passions alive.
Nobody knows their own path, for it forks in many directions. There will always be alternatives, options to take if you are willing to see them. If your willing to open your eyes.
Its time to use intuition rather than knowledge, take risks instead of setting up safety nets. The good life is not for the faint of heart. Keep your chin up and move on.
Realize the light that you are constantly running toward, is within yourself.
